Daily Chart Outlook (July 14th)

We here notice a Fib configuration with a deep retracement (>100%), where the 2nd expansion level coincides with a trendline breakout.
We do also take into consideration a very early MTFS crossover above oversold territory, which is a configuration generally conducive to failed recoveries. The trendline (lower highs) has now been hit, leading to a narrowing of the range and eventually a breakout.
At this point in time, we would favour another minor retracement even though buying pressure is still high on lower time frames. We can therefore anticipate continuation of this difficult environment at least until the underlying longer term selling pressure dissipates over the next few weeks.

SRMap (Support/Resistance Map)

A beta version of SRMap is now available.
Some fine tuning in the prioritization of support/resistance levels is still needed, as well as maybe offering a few display options, but the core calculations are now all fine.
This indicator will also be offered as a standalone TS indicator.

Forthcoming addition to the toolset

A new set of indicators will be released shortly.
We have substituted a genetic algorithm for a simpler non causal filter which computes a lot faster. Pivots are calculated instantly allowing for a number of historical calculations which would have crashed TradeStation otherwise.
The main indicator will be a multi-resolution support/resistance map, including Fib, MM etc which will provide a lot of information on one screen.
The idea is to provide the "quantum" trading environment, which complemented by energy calculations will determine the most likely course of action for the instrument.
